Welcome Clara - Our New Children's Ministry Director

We are so excited to welcome Clara Cutbill to the Family Life team at Ventura Missionary Church. She will be serving as our new Children's Ministry Director.

Clara already has experience serving in children's ministry, managing over 100 volunteers each week, and over 500 volunteers at Vacation Bible School each year.  She has a Master's degree from Fuller Seminary.

Clara is excited to serve the children and families at Ventura Missionary. She loves that children have such pure hearts for Jesus and believes that they are the heartbeat of every church. Someone once told her that children are human beings, not human becomings and deserve to be treated as such. She says it is so important to invest in children, not only because they need to know Jesus, but because they will be the ones reaching the next generation for Christ.

Family Life Pastor, Brian Rayburn, sat down with Clara recently (access the interview video here), and she had some fun things to share. She has an adorable pug named Blanche that has her own Instagram account (@ladyblancethepug). Blanche is even featured as Miss April in an upcoming pug calendar.  

In addition to spending time with Blanche, Clara enjoys watching the L.A. Kings, hiking, and almost any creative outlet such as photography, painting, and cross stitch.
