LOCAL MISSIONS

Living and Sharing the Love of Jesus

in our Community

Ventura Missionary has a deep passion for reaching and caring for our community.  In response to the command of Jesus to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), be His witnesses (Acts 1:8), preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15), and care for others (Luke 10:30-37), we are committed to participating in local and global missions.

We partner with a number of local ministries (reflected below) by investing time and resources on a regular basis.  Believing that the church is not a building, but the people of God sharing the love of Jesus in the world around us, we also invite our church family to engage in practical, focused service opportunities throughout the year through places like Royal Family Kids Camp, Teen Reach Adventure Camp, Food Share, The City Center Transitional Living Community, and more.  To partner financially with  these local ministries, note "Local & Global Missions" on your physical or online gift.
