Prodigal God: A Series in the Gospel of Luke

Most people assume that the word prodigal means wayward or rebellious; usually because many of our English Bibles include the word prodigal in the section heading of Luke 15 to describe the youngest son in Jesus' parable.
But the word prodigal actually means extravagant or excessive and is a beautiful way to describe God's extravagant love and grace that is on full display throughout Luke's Gospel.

This fourteen-week sermon and small group series is a section-by-section study through the Gospel of Luke, emphasizing the extravagant love of God expressed through Jesus Christ.
